Telephone Bridging via the North Carolina Research and Education Network (NCREN)

NCREN can bridge six-to-eight telephone calls for free.

NCREN can provide a massive telephone bridge by using an outsourced company, which cost .12 (cents) per minute, per site.

NCREN also provides an interactive video bridge for the University of North Carolina campuses (and including K-12 where provided).  This service is free to Appalachian State.  Some universities, however, are "receipt funded," so it is best to check with any given campus whether charges apply.  Several safeguards are in place to provide support when needed for individuals who have to call into a session via telephone.
